Fear not

I have to believe that one reason God said "Fear not" in the Bible is because He knows well and good that scared people make dumb, irrational decisions. I was in the counselor's office today, and just about every dumb thing I was complaining about doing went back to my being scared of something. Seriously, it was liking being in Sunday school except that instead of "Jesus" being the answer to everything it was "scared." I told her this too :)
